What should I bring on the visit?
You don’t have to prepare anything beforehand, but if you bring notes about your symptoms or X-rays (for orthopedics) the consultation will be smoother.
About regenerative medicine
I’m interested in regenerative medicine. Which treatment should I get?
Please read the introduction page first. You can just come to the clinic only to get an advice. Thus feel free to ask us. On the other hand, depending on your symptoms, we can start treatments immediately.

What’s the difference between regenerative medicine and other treatments?
Regenerative medicine stands for treatments that make use of materials originated from patients’ own blood or tissue. Usually it doesn’t use drugs, which means there is little possibility that it can cause side effects.
What kind of regenerative medicine do you provide?
The regenerative medicine we provide can be categorized into these two: PRP therapy and stem cell therapy. For details, please read the introduction page.
Will regenerative medicine be work at once? How long will it take for the treatments?
Regenerative medicine makes use of patients’ own healing ability, so the effectiveness or needed time to take effect. Generally speaking, it takes more time than medication treatments for the effect to appear, but it tends to last longer. We recommend patients to receive treatments at least three months or half year, and decide if they are willing to continue, getting examined by a doctor regularly.
About PRP therapy
Will PRP therapy work for my symptoms?
The symptoms listed below are those PRP therapy is considered to be effective to. Even if your symptom isn’t listed, please let us hear about it first. In some cases PRP therapy can be applied too or our doctor may be able to suggest other options.
Knee: osteoarthritis, meniscus injury, anterior cruciate ligament injury
Hip joint: osteoarthritis, osteonecrosis of the femoral head, etc.
Shoulder: shoulder rotor cuff injury, osteoarthritis
Back: spondylosis, herniated disc, lower back pain, sciatica
Face: wrinkle, sagging, scar, acne scar
Others: tenosynovitis, tennis elbow, muscle loss, rheumatoid arthritis, (fracture)
What’s the difference between PRP therapy and PRP melt liquid therapy?
In PRP therapy we’ll collect your blood and inject every time you come to the clinic. You’ll have to wait while we extract PRP (about an hour), but you can inject PRP on the same day of your first visit.
In PRP melted liquid therapy we collect blood for multiple injections and preserve frozen the extracted PRP. You’ll have to come another day to get the injection, but you won’t have to wait for the extraction. And it’s cost-efficient compared to the normal PRP therapy.
Usually our patients start with normal PRP therapy and move on to PRP melted liquid therapy when they decide to go on receiving the treatment.
How much will it cost to receive treatments?
For joints, it’ll cost 90 thousand yen if you inject 4ml. At your first visit we’ll request first-visit fee.
For other parts, the fee can be different. For details, please check the treatment menu. If you can’t read Japanese, Feel free to ask us.
How long will the effect last?
It depends, but many people get injection every month or 1.5 months.
How many times will I have to get injections?
We recommend to get injections at least three times. Those who realize the effectiveness and would like to continue tend to switch to PRP melted liquid therapy.
How much blood is going to get collected?
It depends on the amount of PRP you need. Please check the list below.
PRP injections
- 40mL of blood for 4mL of PRP (normal amount for a knee)
- 60mL of blood for 6mL of PRP
- 80mL of blood for 8mL of PRP
- 120mL of blood for 12mL of PRP
* Amount of PRP you need differs by parts. Your doctor will decide how much of PRP you are going to get injected.
PRP melted liquid
- 200mL of blood for 20mL of frozen PRP melted liquid
- 240mL of blood for 24mL of frozen PRP melted liquid

What’s the difference between PRP therapy and stem cell therapy?
PRP therapy mainly reduces pain, while stem cell therapy regenerates the tissue of the injured part so it is expected to be more effective.
Furthermore, it can applied more symptoms, such as organ diseases.

Is there anything I have to be careful of, after the collection of the fat or injection of the stem cells?
Generally you can spend your life normally, but please refrain from taking baths within 24 hours after the collection of your fat or the injection.
After the collection of the fat, how long will it take for the stem cells to be made?
It depends on person but generally speaking it’ll take at least two months. If PRP therapy is available for your symptom, you can receive that treatment while you are waiting too.
I’m taking medicine to smoothen the blood flow. Am I eligible for stem cell therapy?
Yes, but please stop taking the medicine around the days you are coming to the clinic.
