Our doctors

Shuji Hayashi
M.D., Ph.D.

Graduated from Nagoya University Faculty of Medicine in 1981. Afterward, he studied at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States. Upon returning to Japan, he became a professor at Nagoya University, where he was responsible for the Advanced Medical Biorobotics course.

Although he specializes in gastrointestinal surgery, he has a keen interest in all areas of cutting-edge medical treatments including regenerative medicine and robotic surgeries, providing treatments for a variety of diseases using regenerative medicine at our hospital.

In 2010, he founded the Global Healthcare Foundation, a general incorporated foundation, and became its chairman. He is currently the head of our hospital. His hobbies include tennis, which he has continued from his boyhood, and he spends weekends playing with his dog.

Yuji Hayashi
M.D., Ph.D.

Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Nagoya University and subsequently served as both the head of the Department of Plastic Surgery and the Department of Dermatology at Japanese Red Cross Aichi Medical Center Nagoya Daiichi Hospital.

Currently serves as the director of Chikusa Hills Clinic, which is part of the same hospital network. Specializes in plastic surgery and orthopedics, and at our clinic, he is responsible for both orthopedic and regenerative treatments for the skin. His hobbies include mountain climbing, and he also enjoys playing golf.

Hisashi Iwata
M.D., Ph.D.

Emeritus Professor at Nagoya University and a leading orthopedic surgeon in Japan. He served as a professor at Nagoya University for many years, advancing basic research and the development of treatments in the field of orthopedics in Japan.

After retiring, he continues to practice clinically, adhering to the motto, “Live a serious, fulfilling, and enjoyable life as a doctor,” focusing attentively on his patients’ conditions. He is a big fan of the professional baseball team, the Chunichi Dragons.
